Commercial HVAC Services

Installation, Change-Out and Retrofit - Are you ready to make a difference? U.S.H.A.C. is ready to help your business move from older R-22 systems to the new R-410A systems by January 1, 2010. The Clean Air Act is requiring the production phase-out of a number of substances believed to be responsible for ozone depletion. How does the Clean Air Act impact heating and cooling systems? The portion of the Clean Air Act that applies to the HVAC industry encourages the development of ozone-friendly substitutes for chemicals that contain ozone destroying chlorine, which are called hydro-chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs). The chemical refrigerant of choice for more than four decades, referred to as R-22, is in the HCFC category. By January 1, 2010 the Clean Air Act is mandating that all HVAC R-22 equipment be switched over to the new R-410A ozone-friendly refrigerate, as it does not contribute to ozone depletion.

Oil and Gas Boilers - It is important to understand that a boiler in a commercial application is going to consume a large amount of your energy budget, therefore, it is important to track boiler efficiency. A slight drop in your boiler's efficiency can cause a sharp increase in your energy costs. To get the most out of your boiler system, call U.S.H.A.C. today and we will put together a custom Maintenance/Efficiency Plan tailored to your needs, saving you energy and money. (Please note the difference between boiler efficiency and combustion efficiency. A decrease in combustion efficiency will decrease boiler efficiency, but not necessarily vice versa.)

Energy Evaluation - U.S.H.A.C. is here to provide you with a reliable, effective Energy Audit of your business. We offer: systems assessment and comparison of alternatives, tax deduction incentives evaluation, investment grade energy audits, fuels use analysis, evaluation of alternative heating and cooling configurations, heating and cooling system optimization, energy system design assistance, energy master planning, and much more. Call or click here today for more information on how we can help you save money and the environment.
